Trials FAQ

Is there an age requirement?
We accept players aged 18 and above for the main squad. Exceptional younger players (16–17) may be considered on a case-by-case basis. There is no upper age limit.
Is there a trial fee?
Trial details including any associated fees will be communicated when we contact you to arrange your trial session. We aim to keep barriers to entry as low as possible.
Do I need to live in Indianapolis?
We prefer local players who can commit to regular training sessions, but we will consider players willing to travel for matches and key training sessions.
What level of experience is required?
Players should have a background in organized competitive soccer — college, semi-pro, or a strong amateur league. Raw athletes with exceptional potential will also be considered.
What is the time commitment?
Expect weekly training sessions plus match days throughout the OVPL season. The Saints standard requires regular attendance — this is not a recreational league.
